Every chance I get lately I've been driving back roads and writing down addresses of homes that appear vacant.

I could drive down and look at it and give you an opinion but I’m going out of town for the next five days.

I've been using it when I'm driving for dollars and it seems to provide some deep data.

My concern is that it's a huge hassle to keep 20 separate bank accounts and am trying to find a safe way to keep the houses legally separate, but keep the finances consolidated somehow.

Well I live within 3 miles of all my CA properties so I usually find a way to cycle or drive by them probably at least 3 times a week (e.g., on the way to a local lunch).
