Most professional property managers - those of us who have been in the biz for a LONG TIME - interview prospective client/owners as much as we interview the property itself.If a client/owner starts tellin me how to run their property, I give them the names of two of my "lesser" competitors to call and interview.

As a result, my friends, family, and clients are getting crappy service and that gets attached to my credibility.I basically don't trust any of the services I am aware of that claim to provide or source out "qualified referrals" because there is no incentive for those third party services to provide a good quality service to someone who isn't a repeat customer (listing agents, home sellers, and buyers aren't repeat customers for them...the business model doesn't encourage repeat customers).

Not sure if they deliver smaller goods or just the bulk that can't be moved w/o a forklift.When you call these places like carpet stores etc you should tell them you do rehabs/rentals and plan to do X number a year, see if they'll hook you up to keep you as a long term client.
