I do have a good relationship with my parents and would have no troubles with renting to them.

I have been sniffing around for nearly a year and a better understanding of the area rental market.it seems long term rentals are no go as there are so many competitors and rent could go as low as 850$.

The properties are a large capital investment but with no new developments around the late the appreciation is strong. 

I have no ideal how NC works or their due diligence fee works.

We still have lots of looks and saves on Zillow but no offers now.

I understand that the law in CA limiting landlords to a max of one month's deposit went into effect on July 1.
