If you need control over your investment in person, you are limited because of your location but will do fine.

I have seen places like Cleveland and Columbus get mentioned on the forums as a good place to invest but I’m open to other ideas.

I am limited in STR expertise to my particular location, so I wouldn’t try to give you insight on the specifies of their impact outside of my coverage area.

Your idea of these smaller communities of duplexes on a one acre lot or so is exactly what I eventually would envision doing assuming I could get this first deal off the ground and worthwhile.

This would include buying any property as both property types are well over this limit for useful life.

Was just an idea.

It has worked great for us doing it this way And we get group bookings for large families all the time this way.sounds like trouble trying to do that in one actual listing for calendar coordination but maybe someone will have some great ideas.
