Scott – with respect to your comment on commercial loans, I’ve worked with and helped a lot of SF investors who have transitioned from SF into multifamily investments, some of whom were passive investors in other deals.

I've never done the landlord thing but would like to start looking at it as we transition away from equities in order to obtain monthly cash flow.

Hi everybody,I'm currently transitioning out of the military and I've been reading up a lot on real estate investing and believe I'm ready to get my feet wet.

One side note is the areas is a transitional area with a new grocery, new commercial real estate, etc so while the last 5 years tells a story, the next 5 years may be a little different. 

I reside in Atlanta Ga and I am looking to transition out of my corporate career and move full time into real estate.
