That is a good place to meet potential clients and more importantly learn the jargon, numbers, pain points for investors, etc. 

What you pay can be included in the lawsuit, and it may be easier to get that back vs. freezing and rehabilitating your credit and having to try explain that every time you seek credit from now on.

It really just depends on my relationship with that contractor and what I think will create the least pain for me.
