That being said, the route I've chose for my business is to do Wholesaling so that I can learn to find deals, then in a year or so move into flipping houses so that then a year or so after that I can start working on more of a buy and hold strategy.So for now, I'm looking to network and learn as much as I can.

If you go that route, make sure you're familiar with basic SEC regulation, because pooling money from multiple passive investors without proper filing is a big no-no...

Honestly if it where me, I'd just pay tax on my income upfront and then use the money I WOULD have spent in a 401k on buying property and getting tax advantages that route (plus investment property).

He did give me a quote just to R&R the rotted wooden soffits and fascias but I'm afraid that will just become a nightmare and it will all need replaced...guess we can try that route first.
