Hey there,Looking to make a home purchase with a new agent and there is a clause in the exclusivity contract.Is it common to list a "protection period" for several months after the contract ends?

Last time I heard privacy is not something required for protecting individuals or class or anything like this; there are areas or spaces where must be private (i.e. bathrooms). 

This is because the listing contract is with the brokerage and not the agent so if you use two agents from the same brokerage the seller is still the one whose interests are being protected.

It's cheap and just adds an extra level of protection.4.

Put the house under an LLC as I want to rent out the house (to provide protection)3.

This is business and in business do what's best for you and protect your investment to the fullest.
