Hello All--First post here, so please excuse my inexperience in advance--still learning a lot so appreciate your advice.A little background, I purchased a foreclosed duplex in 2013 in lakewood, ohio (suburb of cleveland) with a FHA rehab loan.

And, like I said, the power company would even do basic checks for free.You could explain to your tenants that it will save them money in air conditioning, and it would also give you a good excuse to do a quick inspection at the same time.I'm no HVAC expert, but my experience with the above would lead me to believe that there would be no danger to damage with your units, if you turned them off in summer.

We find excuses to spend more time there, with yardwork or such to get a pulse on the situation.  

You want renters who will give you the rent payment, not an excuse for why they don't have the rent payment.

It may just be an excuse for this is what we can afford.

However, I just feel that she is using the term "service dog" plus all these excuses to substantiate her reasons for getting a dog.

There seems to be one excuse after another.

We fully disclosed what type of laundry it would be and there is no excuse for not reading a contract and or a supplemental agreement.

The excuse could be true but was oddly reminiscent of the first year of their lease.Aside from late payments they are very clean and take great care of the house.

We plan on flipping the house and have offered to let her stay for 2 months to find a new place, move, etc, except every time we try to get her to sign a lease for that period she says she needs her lawyers to review it first and it ends up being one excuse after another.
