I do see that if a parent co-signs on a student loan, the child has to be a dependent of the parent in order for the parent to  be able to deduct the interest.

So, in looking for something larger, everything that I was looking for in the space I needed was either too big for what I needed, or was too expensive.So, I decided to build what I needed.To build a conventional building would be in the ballpark of $80-$100 a square foot.
