Yes, you’ll be subject to the fluctuation in int rates, however, you can get creative and move to 5/7/10 year ARM options that are typically offering a pretty significant reduction to int rate in comparison with the traditional 15/30 yr options.Something to consider, run the analysis on and see if the math makes sense.

LL As mentioned you will not know until you sell BUT what I would have done is taken that $8,000 and invested it in a fund that would pay you 8-10% interest only then take that money and add that to your principal reduction.

The Illinois Dept of Revenue website states:  Veterans or surviving spouses of veterans with a service-connected disability of 70% or more will be exempt from paying property taxes on their primary residences (100% reduction in EAV, which is Equalized Assessed Value).

ASSUMPTION: a CRASH is 10% or more in a short period such as 3 days:We've been tracking the secret RedFin box "Price reductions"which was about 50 homes per day months ago,BUT hit over 1,250 PRICE CUTS in the last few,right after a YouTube/MSM 3 min. video went out,saying Vegas home decline 1st Time in two years!
