It sounds like you did do some basic interviewing of the contractors but you may have to take things a step further next time to ensure something like this does not happen again.

You'll make multiple price reductions, but still end up with a lower price than if you just priced it correctly from the beginning.A lease/option is a glorified rental.

I am an agent and also an investor, whenever I put the finished product on the market I always disclose that I am an agent, if the house is priced right and if you did a good job on the rehab you do not need to worry about them trying to negotiate, you will probably end with a multiple offers anyway

BTW, I saw 60Minutes and I was more impressed with Romney in that interview, I wish he had been specific but they got him closer than anyone else to date in the media or in his rallies, he was clearer and while I don't agree bottom line, he did make a better presentation and I can see how his base is so insistant. :)We will see if the debates can change anything, but I think it looks like BO will be taking it.

Here are what the report from trans-union and their testimony:[b]THE HUSBAND- Currently Unemployed- Collecting Unemployment of $1,100 for the next 5 months- Have 2 interviews in a big hospital in the area- Works in the medical industry (hospital)- Rental history checks ok- Credit score of 631- Installment loan of $34K, owes $24.8K and its past due for $104- Have 4 collectionsin his records: $111 bank (2011), $59 medical (2006), $193 Verizon (2009) and $52 Electric Bill.

I couldn't believe it either myself at first, but after speaking with multiple people there (including people up the chain) who all told me the same thing, I had no choice but to believe it.I was told very clearly, that no tenant in my county is allowed to pay any amount towards rent.
