I've had employees work for me remotely, hourly, so it wouldn't bother me - but there has to be a pretty decent framework in place or a good system of accountability for you to be sure you're getting what you're paying for.

There's an argument to be made for a sliding scale depending on the age of the home and the condition of the systems. 

did the seller have problems with the heating system (suggesting there may be water in the fuel which could suggest a leak). 

Just need to tune up the systems and she'll be ok.

In my market $5-6k should cover a roof and I can get a full HVAC system installed for just under $5k.

Im trying to find a good system and strategy to make some wins in this segment. 

What do you think of having a tiered system for property manager compensation ( I saw this recently at a large MF building in OK) where the PM makes 85% of potential for 93% occupancy, 92% for 95%, and 100% for 100% occupancy?

A realtor I am using had a family AC company inspect my home's HVAC and provide an outrageous recommendation for a new system and she never disclosed the relationship or that the HVAC company website domain name is registered in her name.

Our business plan is to focus on on our current markets of course, but since we have the system and love to travel to different parts of the country throughout the year, I'm interested in what locations or hidden gem areas I could be looking into. 

Both systems would be end of life if they were original, so make sure these have been done.
