I don't regret not putting them out on the street, even though I fully acknowledge that would have made my life, wallet and stress much better off.

Real estate investing is an emotional roller coaster when you're new, and I'm not sure whether the extra stress of getting into deals is worth it.

I just did the "sell and hope" method and while I did eventually locate 2 great properties and get them under contract, I found it was super stressful. 45 days is such a short period of time when you are trying to make a big investment decision. 

If they do, you should be making sure to stress test your investments to make sure they can handle a weaker economy.

The other, is the overwhelming correlation between those with lots of wealth, and their stress in the importance of education for themselves and their children. 

I think it makes more sense to focus on finding undervalued deals with low risk as opposed to stressing about getting all your money back. 

All cash no contingencies with no agent (or at least low fees) allows for a stress free transaction for your mom. 

Investor-friendliness and having a positive, low-stress OOS experience go hand-in-hand. 3.

Only reason it makes sense is simply to not have the stress of another payment in my book.

One big expense or one bad tenant turnover early can cause a lot of financial stress.
