There are some reputable companies that look for private lenders to fund investor's project and they vet the investor and project and give you a rate of return of anywhere from 10-13%.

While the chance of a loss that exceeds policy limits may be remote, if it happens, the consequences can be devastating.

Be sure the PM is really good and reputable.

If I refinance to buy him out and we have a closing to drop him from the title, will this transaction trigger any tax consequences on my end?
