Outside of that you don't have many options if a lease is active, and they haven't done anything wrong (legally). 

Of course, this won't work for everyone but I do think it's a great option! 

I think I have two options.

Agree that amount looks very small another option, not sure what your goal is, but if you are looking to purchase some down the road, change up your strategy and maybe do a personal line of credit for now.
