I am learning about the "proper" way to take advantage of leveraging equity using rentals/apartments/leases and holding the properties for an extended period of time, i.e. for years.I have an industrial property I purchased using some of the equity in my home.

Considered the RE industry standard that other calculators are measured against.

I'm currently trying to find some sort of job in the industry.

It just looks better, and you can get a darn good job for the tub and tile around $450 in my industry which is not too bad and is done in 2 hours.

My background was in the Automotive Industry, working for a very large company in the administration part of the business....I decided that I needed something more than just a 8 to 5 job and looked into the Real Estate Industry......I've been doing this business for the last 15 years and found a very nice side to this Industry...As an International property locator....

Learn about whatever industry you are interested in.

It will have to catch on sooner or later or we will be dealing with crazy leaders of these oil producing countries as we have been for the past 30 years.

Before buying ANY business, I would want to work in that INDUSTRY for a time, and probably work in the specific business for awhile too.

We also have a residential division and routinely handle small to medium commercial and industrial transactions.

Of course in everything we do, there will always be those that cast a shadow over an industry.
