I purchased a tax lien that was sold the next year with a “warranty deed” The lien was for 2022 taxes and the deed was transferred in 2023. prior to the transfer there is a long history of tax sales and different names paying taxes including a previous investor. how far back does the line of interest go and would the previous investor be considered someone who “holds interest” in the property?

I have a year relationship with an agent and have been trying to figure this out, as well. 

I want any damages/fumigation related to termite to be handled by the seller.

I have waaaay more debt than you and have to deal with inevitable corresponding challenges, but sleep well:)

I would just be careful if you have the right to the land as well, becasue some countries in Asia only will allow you to own the actual property.

Should I save and pay it off quickly or would the money be better in my pocket or in stock market?

I think asking these questions are well within reason.
