It's that simple.If you're going to take on the risk of using debt to purchase this duplex and take on the responsibility and headache of managing it (marketing, screening tenants, collecting rent, and yes even coordinating repairs and maintenance, and possibly even handling potential disputes and/or evictions), then you have to be compensated properly.
