Still trying to learn...but i understand mortgages are public record, yet i cannot figure out where to find that information.I have called my county Assessor's Office and the lady literally laughed at me.... 

Every state needs a title office or attorney to transfer title.   

You'll need to have an annual meeting to agree on work to be done and budgeting for repairs, electing officers, etc.

@Mike HongI’m a builder and I would suggest you first check with your HOA if you have one then with your city permit office. 

I was refinancing my loan out of an FHA into a conventional when the loan officer and I were discussing the rates and all.

As with most anything, you are looking for an experienced loan officer that you get along with and will spend the time to work with you. 

Our office is a duel Real Estate and Mortgage brokers office. 

So something is fishy.When finding a lender, its not about the brand/company as much as it is the loan officer. 

So market share MAY come into your decision but know people don't list with your office, they list with YOU.
