Every year Real Estate Market brings something new to beautiful state California.

Actually @Vallory Clardy I currently live in Japan and we're having a gray, rainy day but my daughter in Stone Mountain, GA told me earlier it was a beautiful day to go out on her motorcycle. :)

I loan my own money all the time on flips and partner with people, but I would structure the NOTE wit "draws", so I only pay for construction work as it gets completed.  

That being said the beautiful thing about real estate is there is no one way to succeed or to make a deal in this industry.  

Sounds a bit like OPEC ... what happens when Saudi Arabia (the guy/gal wit the most units) decides s/he is tired of any vacancy and undercuts the remaining members?

It is quite an eyesore and not sure if I should invest in a rain garden landscaping to make it more beautiful.

Neither are boat people, they live there because it's beautiful and affordable.I think the tiny house and alternative living spaces are easier to manage in temperate places like Coastal CA.  

@Dan Brewer Redding is a beautiful area.

It had probably been gushing for 2 days minimum.It was incredible to witness and as an investor myself I couldn’t help but feel bad for the owner of that house.

Find someone unrelated to the situation to be the process server , find a house of a friend , lawyer , what ever , have them represent themselves as someone that needs some renovations have a " husband and wife " there 2 people make better witnesses to the service  , On the phone elude that these are  BIG MONEY renovations .
