I have just bought 2 townhomes in East Point and they had bidding wars.

So therefore if you bought you still had a level of speculation (or luck) and it just happened to work out.

So I am trying to find  a GC for upcoming potential BRRRs and not sure where to start.I am house hacking right now and I just bought my partner out of the house and he moved out.

I can buy a piece of property and my spouse should be able to do the same regardless if we are married was my understanding. 1) I want to buy an investment property with my va loan (yes I know I have to occupy the property for up to 6 months to a year) 2) She wants to buy a house with hersI went through my same mortgage company where I bought my previous property and he said it would be hard to explain that to the lenders since you guys aren’t getting divorced or separated... so I’m just a little confused as to why that would matter if we both are entitled to a va loan separately?

@Mike McGee I have a lot of multi-family and have bought some office in the last few years to diversify a bit.

I bought in it 2015 for 62k through Fannie mae and currently rents for $845.

About 3-4 years ago someone built a brand new fourplex, 1.5-2 bedroom each.

I grew up with a dad who bought and renovated houses and have had as many conversations with him about it as I can, I've read all the REI books I can get my hands on, not scared of research and paperwork, and I'm good with my hands.

They'll have so much more knowledge about houses, a lot less drama.... the other girl is brand new, and would likely struggle with bills, and may move for a better paying job-- whereas grandma has other people to help cover the bills...
