I had this conversation with my dad about how my university is planning on having 25,000 students in the engineering department alone by the year 2025... not even factoring the other majors offered at the school. so needless to say student housing is super hot in College Station.

Ive also seen similar at gas station pumps.

@Brandon Turner I’m house hacking a 2 family property 20 minutes south of Boston that is a 5 minute walk to the train station into the city.

Vernon Triangle and NoMA, accessible to multiple metro stations, walkable to everything, has laundry, parking, a fenced patio and I feel its generally a pretty awesome unit.

The naval station is close which means good rentability.I read an unrelated article recently that said Bremerton had a pretty high crime rate, but I didn't do any of my own research.

With 3% down you're looking at homes in the mid-400s; hard to find in Beacon Hill-Mt Baker-Columbia City, but lots of good options around Graham Street (where the Hillman City infill lightrail station will go) and Rainier Beach lightrail.

This would be southwest quadrant, but also very close to police station, train station as well as main and Cookman.

Being from Portland, I am excited to be stationed on the west coast.
