One freind of mine at the time had peoperty he owned and it was in his name (for some reason not his company).

I looked into Huntsville, AL, and Columbus, OH which are referred to as the best places to buy real estate recently.

2) If the lease that the tenant agreed to included them maintaining the front yard/ landscaping - is it reasonable to deduct a 1 time yard clean-up from their security deposit? 

Some work I can do myself, but for time purposes, would hire out.

Hello everyone, Ill try to keep this short, I am new to investing in real estate and looking for some insights.

Not sure how much your taxes increased, but one way to cheaply and quickly drop your monthly payment is to increase your deductible on your insurance for the time being (please speak to your insurance agent about what this means for you).  

Are there goods you are worried that you won't have access to on time?

How about time to complete on the cabins themselves?
