Long story short, I excelled as a part time realtor and did more transactions than any other new agent in the office.

I think hearing both sides of every story is valuable to BP members. 

I am totally ignorant, in many ways actually, but specifically regarding how much it will cost to develop my idea into a working business.I want to eventually build 3-story apartment buildings for a new complex in an area that is not only nearly saturated in terms of occupancy, but in which I know, without any question, property management companies are creating my customer base daily.

I'm very amazed at stories where people purchase multiple properties a year.

I plan to do the rest of the cosmetic reno myself but need help in this area from a professional.The house is a 2 story ~3k sq ft house with the main living area on the second floor.  

Hi Gregory -The nutshell story of our first house was that we were living in Iowa City and bought a very old house from a very old woman who'd lived there most of her life.

. - to be good at it OTH is a different story); there wouldn't be anyone doing it if there was simply nobody on the other end buying?

Anyway, the purpose of this forum is to learn and hopefully I can inspire you and others to think outside the box and consider some new ideas because having an arsenal full of weaponry is how you survive and thrive in the ever changing arena of REI.
