:sigh: The recession taught them to ignore their parents (& be more conservative than them) when it comes to buying a house.The degree value to student loan debt ratio (call it the degree VTD - Value To Debt ratio) has never been so low as it is today.

Admittedly it was a long shot, but I'd feel silly if I passed it by due to ignorance.

Some ARMs use it as the index basis for adjustment, too.If I'm in a day-trading mood because I'm ignoring my own advice about day-trading (the same way most folks ignore their own advice haha), I'll look at where the 10 year tnote closed on the East Coast as a sneak peek for where rates might be tomorrow morning, and still have 3 hours left (CA time zone in a CA headquartered company, baby) to decide if I want to lock today or wait until tomorrow.
