Simply, it was an amazing investment that taught me a lot about the investment game from the ground up!

That's obv good if own assets in that class -- but makes the game tougher if you're trying to get in and actively acquiring properties. 

You have to remember Brandon has been in the game for years and has developed systems, processes and team members to help him hit those numbers consistently.

Two can play the game in this case, though time is probably more of a problem for your guy than the bad actor.

Keep focused and think of this as a long game, not a sprint.

You just need to make sure you have a game plan together with the right lender.

The object of the game is to reduce/eliminate your cost as low as possible while maintaining positive CF, and let your tenant pay for the rest from the rent. 

Live in one of the units and rent out the rest, this is a great way to get into and learn the rental game, and often live for free (tenants pay your mortgage, utilities, etc), maybe even make some positive cash flow.

The short-term rental (STR) strategy is a great way for new investors to get in the game and fast track their journey to financial independence, due to the huge cash flow it generates.
