I planned on getting an inexpensive condo or coop in an area outride of where i live but I’m not sure how this will affect my goal of getting into rental property investing.Can someone advise on which would be the best route to take if I want to get started in rental property investing?

I personally recommend first going for a SFR or duplex to get the basics down and then go from there.

Looking for help predicting expenses (like maint/cap, insurance, cleaning, management, etc.) and revenue (I've computed my own rental season curve, but I'd love someone to validate that for me).What I'm looking at is an MLS duplex that *I think* would rent for a total of $4300/wk at peak, at a least price of $519K.Thanks,Chaz

It’s already as modern as it gets, it can’t appreciate that much from $20 million, and how is going to rent out a mansion for $100,000 when you can buy a condo for that price?
