Occasionally, when you verbally inform an applicant they are denied, they will want to "correct" or add to the information and push forward with the application, so once I decide to deny, I always check off ALL objections that apply.

The lender supposedly also may have some objection to this because she cannot guarantee a 35 day closing for a property that does not have water especially if appraiser may require it as a condition for closing.

So he proceeded to tell me for like 10 minutes (despite my objections) that the HELOC people are lying and I have to not only make an interest payment every month even if I have a zero balance, but since the interest rate is variable it is a lot more risky (I know he's right about that part).
