I have an eclectic background in the fields of geology (engineering and environmental) and real estate agency.

Because of her, I knew I wanted to take this career path in some capacity, so I received my salesperson's license last summer only to find out being an agent wasn't what I wanted.

I hope you find a mentor to help get you on the right path to your investing and have a great career here.

And if you don't feel comfortable at this point in your career or with this person, then absolutely walk away.

@James Wise Reminds me of a Dan Sullivan comment, in the beginning of our career we convince ourselves that we would be truly happy if we had 100,000 a year net income.However when we achieve that we become a bit disillusioned, and we convince ourselves that True Happiness is at 200,000 annually.
