I don't believe it's morally right for you to keep an applicant's holding deposit if YOU are the one that is making the judgment call on personality especially if they have passed all your other background verification processes.

I have a pretty solid background of working with tools and machinery and a basic house hack would be right up my alley if I could find someone in the same boat to eventually work on a flip or even a rental property.If not I'd love to even just spend sometime on the weekends working with anyone in the Denver area.

We also enjoy the process of taking a distressed property and making it truely beautiful again.

If anyone has any helpful tips for a beginner looking to start with house hacking, I am eager to learn and willing to use my marketing background to help in any way I can.

I would add looking at online county dockets, several times with different companies I have used for the checks, someones background comes out clean, yet I find landlord filings or crimes, even within 7 years, in online county records that didn't come up in the report.

Not necessarily where you live, but you need to know the background, present conditions, and likely future of specific streets, neighborhoods, and towns. 

Can anyone recommend a tenant screening service that does a good job with a national criminal background check?
