To be 100% honest, I didn't do this on my first flip, because I thought I was organized enough to track everything in excel, and I ended up not.

IDK if its just the owner that wasn't organized with their finances, their lack of knowledge on how to use technology, or the fact that these tenants might be late once in a while.

In short, trying to get some experience on nights and weekends will increase your success rate for when you quit your job.For example, working as a leasing agent for a big building would be a perfect way to get started.Another option could be volunteering to sit open houses for agents.

My partners and I were just given a W-9 by the organization that pays our tenants rent.

I hope we can organize and find ways to fight this gross violation of our rights, all the way to the supreme court if necessary.  

This company are not organized at all!

If there are any established multifamily/commercial investors who are looking for someone to do cold calling or deal analysis I am more than willing to volunteer my time in exchange for the experience and knowledge.

My mother is on the board for a non-profit organization in Milwaukee that provides housing, services and life skills training for low income women, particularly those from the 53205 and 53206 zip codes. 

Our last one was last week on 1/22 but we’ll be organizing another one in February and we may have found a spot to safely host a private meetup for 30-40 people but it’s not confirmed yet.  

We would like to build upon this organization with the land my partner currently owns.
