I wouldn't recommend using Airbnb's rate, but rather a 3rd party service that let's you set your own base rate, and then adjusts that for peak times, seasonality, etc.  

We ended up closing on the deal 3 weeks later and i took my 10k assignment fee and went full speed ahead with real estate.

Hoping that as life settles down a bit now from our peak season down here that we may be able to get a subgroup for Kiwi locals on BP to keep in touch.

We do it with 4 guys in 25-30 days, speed is what you are looking for, not someone who waits a week or two for a sub to come out and do their trade.

Keep your favorite building inspector on speed dial and go from there.

I suppose it is because you don't want people peaking into your garage and stealing your sh*t later.

Prices seem to be at their peak, so it will probably be wise to sit and wait for the right moment to invest in my first property.
