Only Reason to ever do that is because of my parents and my wife have strong sentimental Feelings and emotions in that house which I was unable to get rid of even after getting them 10x better house then that but as they say heart is where the home is, and I would absolutely feel proud of myself by give my parents and my wife that house back some how, that would be my biggest accomplishment.

So that is really the extent of my knowledge other that what I read on here and what I google, I have a 6 figure income a strong Business sense and above average intelligence and am a salesman at heart, I have around 30 k of my own money that I would like to keep right where its at and some other money in 401ks and such but lets just pretend those dont exist.

I'll also take the property manager advice to heart, I'm going to need someone who can look after my rental any time I leave the area and would eventually like to take a cut on income to outsource some of the work to a manager.Speaking hypothetically, do you think it would be better to buy a $50,000 home that rents for $650 vs a $25,000 home that rents for $450 because of fewer tenant issues?
