@Tori Roy, I can’t point you to the court records, but I remember learning that anti-trust laws prevent NAR from limiting MLS access to Realtors.I think the solution for you is a no-frills, no-desk-fee broker plus signing up for your local MLS without joining the Realtor board attached to it.I’d suggest doing a little googling, then calling your local Realtor board and inquiring (dare I say “badgering”) them about buying MLS access without joining.Good luck!

In Fla there are certain things a handyman can do, but it's fairly limited.

I'd stated the occupancy limit on the property is 4 adults and was a bit unprepared when he filled out the application with 6 total people (himself, wife, and 4 kids).

Any investors in the area or beyond that would like to network for advice, ideas, etc..

I am currently looking at a few locations/properties though Zillow, redfin etc. to get an idea of the rent/cash flow potential in the surrounding areas. 

No idea how the seller is supposed to verify to the IRS that their buyer is living in the home, but hey, if you are in binoculars sales / voyeur aficionado Facebook Group (haha this exists!

If you think there's a deal worth pursuing, it's generally a good idea to buy.

I also know that Airdna is a great tool to search for markets; however, as someone new to real estate, evaluating and choosing between different markets is a lot to take in; I tend to get analysis paralysis when presented with loads of stats that I haven't quite yet learned how to analyze effectively.I should also mention that my idea is to buy some land and build an A-frame cabin.
