Send a request for reimbursement for your costs to the agent/broker making note that it was her error if she doesn't want to pay, you will be submitting the claim to her E&O insurance.

Also, most appraiser E&O insurance don't cover this situation and if they do, it may've been their (insurance co) choice to settle.There is a current case back East (I cannot remember where at the moment), where the appraiser is countersuing for defamation, after a similar bias claim.
