I attended my first meetup in Raleigh in November.

I have been listening to podcasts, reading books and attending seminars for the last 6 months but have not taken the plunge into investing as yet.

My recommendation is to attend some networking events and get personal recommendations from people you meet there.Go to NETWORK at the top of your screen and you can search for other investors and investment groups in your area.

Tomorrow night I am attending my local REIA meeting where they are having a presentation that is all about flipping houses.

I attended a presentation last night by Allan Cowgill on his Private Lending Made Easy system.

The thing that should be mentioned is that by reading from a number of sources and attending a number of different meetings you learn there are differences of opinion about a number of things.I would recommend Frank and Dave's bootcamp, and their publications strongly, but, and this is a big but, I only agree with some of what they advocate.
