I'm just getting into flipping and am seeking a General Contractor in the Raleigh area. 

Ive read the BP rehab book but this is a lot.do I just pay a contractor to walk through with me and tell the owner Im interested but need my contractor to walk through?

Looking for a recommended contractor  for a major renovation project.

Fortunately I had two properties right next to each other with the exact same rehab done by the exact same contractor at the exact same time.

He has written rules into our by laws preventing moving kitchen and bathroom plumbing.

My concerns/thoughts are:Getting a good general contractor to fix it (do I need to fix it?...

The house has already been completely gutted and framed and has HVAC ductwork, plumbing and subfloors already installed (it's essentially a shell waiting to be finished).

-My friend who is a contractor says we can get the place appraised before you start by using your building plans and the land and the bank will make a decision on that.  

And when you have rehab going on, they'll send inspectors out to make sure your contractor's actually doing work and not BSing you.

I believe the property is currently vacant and I'd like to get the rehab done (mostly using contractors) and have the place rented in 4 months.If you have the time to read my explanation below I'd love to get your opinion.
