Real estate markets change and it's silly because no person should move to an area to start their first job based on how the real estate investing market is unless you are totally remote and always will be.

For me I'd like cash flow so I'd buy a place to turn into an airBNB in an appreciating city here, and generate enough income to buy another in a year or so.

My personal soapbox statement - Airbnb is an abusive spouse that slowly people are waking up to realize they are in a controling abusive relationship and they start to develop an escape plan (more platforms/direct website) so they are no longer relying on Airbnb.
