Overall I would say that on a $20K kitchen redo you might save a few hundred $$, but you'll lose that back in time wasted waiting for delivery.One other opinion that I have on this is that "every" radio talk show host in the surrounding two cities, primarily a bunch of low level rush limbo wannabes does radio ads for them.

One will be trashed, its my worst one, another was not finished when folks moved in and I have to gut the kitchen including flooring due to a water leak in a wall, the other is paint , faucets, and some serious cleaning.

Vinyl click-lock style goes into kitchens and bathrooms (looks better and is higher quality to sheet vinyl).Higher end properties get hardwoods or bamboo throughout and tile in the kitchen and baths.All options are more expensive than carpets...but you will replace the carpets almost every time you change tenants.
