I had a lot of luck with ASI ASI and Safeco early in my journey, and then I stumbled upon a different class of insurance companies that are more geared towards investment properties.My policies are currently underwritten by SES and they have been great to work with and very geared towards the investor.My insurance agent is a sage source of counsel on the subject and I bet he'd be a good resource for you if needed!

The goal is for the rental income from the units to cover all of or most of the mortgage, multifamily house hacking, if you will. 

Hello Everyone,I am very excited to be part of this forum now that my daughter and I are starting this new journey of investing our money in real estate.

This past week I've invested some hours after my 9 to 5 (between putting the babies to bed and my own bedtime) into a tool that would help me understand the impact of refinancing, depreciating or selling my LTRs.

This is my first investment and I have made a lot of mistakes along the way so really looking to survive this situation by any means with pressure coming in from my current lender.

I would suggest considering an investment that could help you pay off the HELOC quickly, given the high interest rates typically associated with them.

Normally we do not have vacancies in late fall through mid spring and fill our vacancy in first open house.
