If I got it correctly you and one of your colleagues cleaned up well at the Wayne county auction this year.

In this town you can't build downtown without the 1st floor being commercial- would be a huge loophole if it were true- which it isn't.

Called several electricians to do a service change at my house (add a meter and separate basement and first floor circuits) - a job that requires pulling a permit with DOB.Each time I ask for proof of license, electrician says something like "We sign contracts, You give deposit, I pull permit" and doesn't address license.This has happened to me 3 or 4 times.How are these electricians pulling permits if they are unlicensed?

As far as expenses, all of the obvious things like your utilities, cleaning, stocking of paper products, etc. 

It was okay if I only had sub-floors in for a few weeks while I took estimates from 10 contractors on what it would cost to do the flooring in the house.

I am sure there are a ton of people that are in the same situation as me and want to know how to do this as cleanly as possible. 

The property that has 550 cash flow also has about 35-40000 in equity and I have contemplated selling it to clean most of our slate.

It is clean and has almost every aspect updated.

Other than that, it needed a wall opened up to make a bigger kitchen, redo the bathroom, and there were hardwood floors that needed refinishing upstairs under the carpet. 

Anyway I'm from NYC and over here we use a superintendent to take care of garbage, cleaning and snow removal.
