Yes, they are trying to prevent a claim on their end, but a saved claim is a financial loss you don't have to have the pain of experiencing too. 

Suggest you go to your court house people watching taking notes do your home work in advance.

I read the forums as much as I can, and there is great information here, but I'm still a little shake when it comes to the financials and taxes.
