Rich Dad Poor Dad: this book has changed my entire outlook on life and money, and everyone I’ve talked to said the exact same.

After going to a Rich Dad Poor Dad seminar it renewed our energy and we decided we should look outside of Colorado.

I had her read rich dad poor dad but it didn't seem like she took as much away from it as I did so she was asking if there were podcasts that she should listen to. 

As far as educating myself, I’ve read rich dad poor dad, richest man in Babylon and currently reading BRRRR I’m also planning on attending a real estate meet up here locally!

It's like people getting rich in stocks during the tech boom and losing it all when the market shifts.

BTW everyone says they want to be rich, they hustle, they are ambitious but the proof is really in the pudding. 

I'm new to the real estate game and since I wasn't born rich I don't have alot of capital to work with.

I've been listening to podcasts (Bigger Pockets / Take Action - local to me) and reading a few books (Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Millionaire Real estate Investor, The book on Rental Property Investing...) to learn more about the industry and lately I've been shifting gears towards building my network to help me get more educated on the current state of investing in real estate.To date I have been able to connect with a private investor to help fund a deal, I have a couple realtors that I have known for 20+ years that can help me find deals, I'm starting to meet with a couple people that I know that have invested in the past or are currently investing, and I have a couple of lenders in mind to reach out to as well to have on hand if need be.My question for the forum is whom else should I be networking with to be ready for that first jump into an investment? 

None of this is get rich quick stuff, but if you are invested in a market over a few years you will start to see deals come your way.
