Their inspector will verify the work completed and they will issue a draw based on their opinion of percentage work completed.  

They spend money on what they believe will drive more sales and more profit to their bottom line.If people maintained house, cars, appliances, etc. as often as manufacturers recommend most people would be broke and their whole time daily would be doing this stuff.As an inspector you likely want things done at a very high maintenance level that tenants might not agree with.

-Mold - inspector found some very minor mold spots in bedroom closet, attic, and garage. 

The are strict license requirements in my industry too (home inspections) but that doesn’t prevent a non-inspector from owning and controlling a home inspection business. 

In addition to a general inspector, I would absolutely want to get a professional in each field to look at those. 

As far as the loan type to choose - typically investor friendly agents will also have a network of investor friendly mortgage contacts as well as inspectors, attorneys, etc. 

As a licensed home inspector, I have found that general contractors only repair what they have been asked to repair.

They will not use any third parties (especially for management) The only third party should be your home inspector.

We will have to have the VA inspector back out to ensure that it is done to standards, before we can get those funds released.
