I'd take a syndication over a REIT that specializes in movie theaters or hotels catering to business travelers for the long term, but there are individual REITS I'd take over pretty much every syndicator.  

It is  surrounded by lots of competitive high end flagship Motels and hotels. property was built 1985 but was Fully renovated 2 years ago. 

Many Motels/Hotels are conveyed with some if not all seller financing. 

I’ve heard of this being done especially with hotels/motels seeing decreased revenue during COVID.

We've been investing in hotels for quite some time. 

My son is a union carpenter who has built hotels and apartment buildings using modular stuff from Poland and elsewhere.

Financing for hotels is barely starting to rebound.

Does anyone have any insight about the condo-hotels, specifically The Camelot or The Coral?

Great bonus, $99 per year, travel/hotel points are easy to use, great customer service, etc.  

If your property is tailored to guests passing through that would prefer a home over a hotel, it could go well.
