In the end, I prefer the long-term rental route with a good tenant though and over time when I start traveling for extended periods again, I will likely shift them back to long-term.I personally, would not purchase a property for the sole purpose of being a vacation rental - it's just not part of my investment strategy though, I have met people who do quite well with that model.

California is known to be small. we have a group we work with who does land entitlement with us in columbus and they do it in 8 markets and the fastest is here. not because it's columbus but because we explore this strategy to fast track development deals through rezoning and highest and best use entitlement

I have been reading the forums, listening to podcasts and reading books and videos for over 6 months getting very motivated... but living in Spain I have to transfer what works diferently and what works the same than in the US or UK markets that are where most the info comes from.I would like to get in touch with other local spanish inverstors and see what strategies work best here...

I just want to get some thoughts from BP and maybe some strategies that others have found to work well when it comes to appliances. 

Answer to this is what will lead to reaching a middle ground with terms and conditions that make sense to both the sides.The fun part of such capital stacking strategies is that it allows you room for creative thinking.

I like the BRRRR method and think I can use that strategy now with the 1 rental property I have.
