That is why I get the upfront money so they have skin in the game.

Communication has always been the sticking point for me as I am not quick to trust my investment to someone with no skin in the game and who hasnt' gotten my ok on spending my money.In my mind it might be better to find a realtor or other money partner in long distance properties and pay them a management fee for that service. 

VC's are savvy, knows how too DD much better, but probably can see right through this stuff much faster than us and if they didn't put some "skin in the game" here, that said a lot to me. 

Here is one play on bulk purchases, however there are many ways to skin this cat.Hedge fund or Private equity player will buy anything at a steep discount if they can have a very reasonable chance of selling it higher.

There are other ways to "skin a cat" that often can satisfy those lenders, though.

Ty BurnsWhen you say "ugly brick siding" do you mean the house has a brick veneer (true brick wall built outside the frame) or it has a masonry siding textured to look like stone or brick?

I tried this eco-friendly painted texture stripper and it caused it to be gum.

No one is going to skip paying their property taxes and go into "strategic default" when they have 100% skin in the game!

You learn and you go and sometimes it’s  a pain in the buttdifferent loan programs those are owner occ with PMI.. your an investor.. investors need skin in the game.. look were the no skin in the game got us 10 years ago.. investors walked in droves when they had nothing at risk
