I sort of have a basic conception of this strategy but all advice from folks currently doing it, how they got their 1st rental, methods of financing as well as team members used would be of great help.

But I do think I have the skills to manage that since the whole concept isn't new to me, and I expect a lot more professionalism out of people.

It is a simple case of the economic concept of supply and demand.

As Warren would say:Rule #1:  Don't lose money.Rule #2:  Don't forget Rule #1.Sounds pith, but if you really think about it and take it to heart, you'll see that this is the best advice you can receive for any type of investing.To put Warren's rules in simpler terms -- Be conservative, then be more conservative, and when all else fails, be conservative.

For me personally, the investment really helped me be more aware of other styles and concepts.

Hi,  I am totally new to the concept of crowdfunding.  

I ordered the same book and am about 60 pages in.Contrasting Patrice's opinion, I find that the information is not logically organized (in some cases not organized at all, it seems), and that he fails to elaborate on concepts and strategies when needed, which really throws me off.
