In a perfect world, I could look at what is currently being rented and figure out an accurate range, but I cannot seem to find that information anywhere.As of right now I just look at the current rentals listed and dig into the # of days listed / # of applications to gauge interest at that price.

To my knowledge the rules and regulations regarding STR are getting much more stringent thanks to pressure applied by large hotel corporations.I haven't heard the sky is falling yet, but I'd be prepared with multiple exit strategies if you intend on his being an investment property rather than for your own enjoyment.Good Luck!

In one house that I insure, recently the water softener blew apart due to a bad water pressure regulator, the insurance company decided that even though the regulator should have been the cause, almost all the damage came from the water softener coming apart and flooding the basement.
